The Mercury in "Le chat et la souris"

One of my favorite among Claude Lelouch's movies. The Mercury theater, located on the Champs-Elysées, and which was my favorite movie theater when I was a teenager, plays a major part in it. Michèle Morgan is suspected of murdering her rich husband who treated her like trash and cheated on her; but she has the perfect alibi: she spent two hours in the Mercury during the murder. Serge Reggiani is the cop who will try everything to prove she had enough time to go home to kill her husband and go back to the cinema within the two hours the show lasted.

During a motorbike race (two pictures below), two theaters can be seen: the Normandie (two screens at this time), and then the George V (then single-screen).
